In search of a natural insomnia solution

Professor Leon Lack (Stanford Alma-mater) would lead a team of sleep scientists as they tested a new technique to treat insomnia. Professor Lack was well known to the other team members given that at age 72, he had been involved with over 100 research studies.

The team assembled at the sleep lab of Flinders University where they would carefully implement the sleep-conditioning program amongst research participants. This involved the scientists staying up all night to monitor volunteers as they slept.

Their objective was to find a new way to treat insomnia. Despite advances in modern health insomnia remained a significant burden on society. 

The scientists were stunned when they reviewed the data. Poor sleepers whom had trouble with their sleep – some for more than a decade – realized almost immediate gains.
